Following much discussion and effort between FOPA, the council garden team and the local councillors over many months, we have had some much needed progress. As you may have seen the footpaths in Adelaide which had become very distressed and dangerous are being renewed. Along with this, work on the drainage for the ‘Adelaide pond’ which appears after heavy rains has also been undertaken.
We would like to thank the council garden team and the local councillors for listening to our concerns as a community and taking action.
A great success, and will make the gardens a more pleasant, safe place to be and work in for all.
