With thanks to the generous donations from the community and recent grants from the Lottery Fund, we have been able to continue our birdfeeder campaign this winter, adding three new feeders and purchase of 50kg of birdseed and suet. We keep feeders topped up through the winter months with the help of local resident Rosemary Keegan, one of our resident members from Adelaide Crescent. The feeders are vital for songbirds to survive the winter, as we help sustain Robins, Wrens, Blackbirds, Tits, Woodpigeons, and of course those acrobatic squirrels daring enough to defy the squirrel proof feeders!
