For those members of FOPA who enjoy listening to music played by accomplished performers in a delightful setting, these concerts are a must.
All Saints church is no more than a five minute walk from Palmeira Square. It ranks as one of the outstanding architectural monuments of Hove. The neo-Gothic CofE Church consecrated in the 1890s was designed by Pearson to almost cathedral (Truro) proportions and provides a wonderful acoustics for music be it for organ and choral church services or the lunch time concerts which embrace a wider spectrum.
On 19 June, soprano Lizzie Bett Estrada accompanied by pianist Tom Scott entertained an appreciative audience with songs from Ivor Novello, Schubert and others. Thus I was inspired to write this short note pour encourager les autres!
The programme of concerts extends until November. A coffee bar provides light refreshments.
