Recent Planning Applications
FOPA monitors local Planning and Listed Building Applications. We have recently submitted comments on three Applications within Palmeira Square and Adelaide Crescent.
Overflowing rubbish bins
An all too familiar sight at the top of the Square. We have twice now requested a second bin at this location but on both occasions been told that the problem is residents in the Square using the bin when they voted to retain the doorstep collection rather than have bins in the garden squares.
Alcohol sales under greater control
The steadily increasing problems of alcohol fuelled anti-social behaviour in Brunswick Town have at last been curtailed by the extension of the central Cumulative Impact Zone along Western Road to Holland Road.
Police Local Action Team

New council website – JourneyOn
New website and social network links for local travel information The Council have launched a new website called JourneyOn which includes all kinds of local travel information: trains, buses, taxis, even walking, with real time running information.

Parking Permit waiting time may be reduced
Acting for Residents Associations within Zone M, our Ward Cllr. Paul Elgood presented a petition to the Council Meeting on 10th December calling for action to reduce the one year waiting time for a parking permit .
