UK Power Networks run the electricity network delivering power to our area and connect and move power cables. Engineers are currently upgrading the electricity network between Fishersgate and Brighton to maintain reliable electricity supplies for homes and businesses and manage increasing demand for electricity.
Work is due to take place in stages in the roads listed in the table at https://www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/brighton
As well as using advance warning signs, UK power networks will write to residents with further details shortly before work is due to start in each new area.
Safety is the priority and in consultation with the local highways authorities, traffic management measures will be in place as we progress along the cable route.
Work will progress in stages, with traffic management and safety barriers being moved along the route in sequence with our working area.
