You may have noticed that the far window of the new Co-op supermarket in Western Road has been changed from a picture of a huge wine bottle to a heritage photo of Brunswick Town. This was the result of a competition led by all the local residents associations to reduce the promotion of alcohol in the area. The Co-op cooperated splendidly with this and it is hoped that similar improvements to bland supermarket windows might follow. Tesco please note!
